CSL Behring is expanding its external innovation capability and seeks a Director of Search & Evaluation to guide strategic sourcing and evaluation for the Cardiovascular/Renal portfolio. The role is embedded in the Therapeutic Area Leadership Team and will shape early partnering strategies while driving transactions in collaboration with Business Development.

Based in the US with hybrid work (on-site 3 days/week) at Waltham or other US hubs, the position requires an advanced degree and a deep

Qualifications

Advanced degree required (PhD, MD, or equivalent).
Significant tenure in biopharma with expertise in external innovation and BD.
Proven track record in due diligence and closing early-stage deals.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic sourcing and evaluation of external opportunities in Cardiovascular/Renal.
Coordinate due diligence across scientific, clinical, regulatory and commercial assessments.
Shape early partnering strategies and drive transactions with Business Development.
Represent the TA externally at conferences and build relationships with biotech, academia and pharma BD groups.
