Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Executive Director for the External Financial Reporting Quality Assurance Program. You will manage end-to-end QA reviews to mitigate external reporting risks and provide independent validation to management.

You will partner with senior stakeholders across Corporate Finance, Risk, and Technology to drive a best-in-class QA program, lead a global QA team, and guide governance forums with strategic updates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years related experience within External Audit, Internal Audit or External Financial Reporting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP standards.
• Strong analytical skills with data analytics or similar processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to quickly understand complex subject matter and demonstrate critical thinking.
• Ability to challenge the status quo while maintaining relationships.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Strong interpersonal skills and influence across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior stakeholders across Corporate Finance, LOB Controllers, Risk, Operations, Technology, and Data teams to drive a QA program.
• Drive end-to-end QA lifecycle: test strategy, risk assessments, test plans, results analysis, and conclusions.
• Lead, mentor and develop a global QA team across locations, setting objectives and performance expectations.
• Represent QA in governance forums with senior management updates on progress and risk.
• Develop and lead a technology transformation agenda to improve efficiency and consistency through automation.
• Stay current with evolving industry and regulatory changes and assess impact on business objectives.
