Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Quality Assurance – Executive Director to lead the External Financial Reporting QA program in New York. You will manage annual planning and end-to-end QA reviews to mitigate reporting risks and provide assurance to management.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with Corporate Finance, Risk, and Technology, plus mentoring a global QA team and staying current with regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years experience in external audit, internal audit, or external financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP standards.
• Proven analytical skills with data analytics experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to quickly understand complex subject matter and think critically.
• Ability to challenge the status quo while maintaining relationships.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder influence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of US Financial Regulatory reports is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with and influence senior stakeholders across Corporate Finance, Line of Business Controllers, Risk, Operations, Technology, and Data teams to drive a best-in-class QA program
• Drive end-to-end execution discipline across the QA lifecycle, including test strategy design, risk assessments, test plan development and execution, results analysis, and documented conclusions
• Lead, mentor, and develop a global QA team (testers and QA leads), setting clear objectives, establishing performance expectations, providing feedback/coaching, and fostering a strong risk and control culture across locations
• Represent QA in governance forums to provide senior management updates on progress, conclusions, risk implications and thematic findings
• Develop and lead technology transformation agenda to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and consistency through automation
• Stay current with evolving industry and regulatory changes, analyzing their impact to business objectives, processes, and compliance
