Job summary

THE·TEAM in New York seeks a Director of Experiential Ops & Production to lead delivery of agency projects from brief to execution. You will allocate resources, manage live events, and ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes while mentoring the Production team.

You’ll oversee budgets of $2–4M, coordinate with account teams, vendors, and clients, build schedules, supervise staff, and contribute to business development. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 9–11+ years in experiential operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 9–11+ years of experiential operations experience.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee large-scale project teams for events from planning through execution.
• Collaborate with THE·TEAM account teams to ensure delivery aligns with client objectives and budget.
• Manage vendor relationships (audio, lighting, staging, fabrication, graphics, digital tech, venues, labor).
• Define team structure, roles and responsibilities per project.
• Develop and reconcile project budgets of $2–4M+, ensuring targets are met.
• Develop production schedules and enforce deliverable dates.
• Build strong client relationships and address needs throughout projects.
• Lead project teams across multiple accounts and mentor staff.
• Contribute to business development with existing and potential clients.
