Director, Experiential Ops & Production
Job Overview
The Director, Experiential Ops & Production is an integral position on THE·TEAM’s Experiential Team responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of various aspects of agency projects, from brief to execution. This role will ensure that all project relevant resources including operations and logistics are allocated and delivered on-time, on-budget and of a quality expected by THE·TEAM and its clients. Additionally, the Director will contribute to the department operations, processes, budgeting (for live projects and pitches), agency quality control, project resourcing, third‑party supplier management and continually mentor and develop the Production team members.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee and manage various large‑scale project teams for events from planning through execution.
- Collaborate with all THE·TEAM account teams to ensure flawless project delivery against client objectives and budget.
- Manage vendor relationships with audio, lighting, staging, fabrication, graphics, digital technology, venues, labor, and other project execution partners to meet sustainability, ethical purchasing, diversity, quality control and pricing standards.
- Define team structure, roles and responsibilities on a project‑to‑project basis.
- Develop, manage and reconcile project budgets of $2‑4M+, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Develop production schedules, run‑of‑shows and enforce key deliverable dates.
- Build and maintain effective client relationships and address needs promptly throughout projects.
- Manage and develop relationships with trusted suppliers and third parties.
- Lead project teams across multiple accounts, communicate vision and challenge the team to achieve goals.
- Resource and staff teams for current and forecasted projects.
- Create a positive, collaborative teamwork environment based on the company culture and values.
- Provide leadership for account teams, including coaching, professional development and training while guiding on deliverables.
- Collaborate account‑specific processes and serve as a trusted resource on integrated teams.
- Contribute to business development for new revenue opportunities with existing and potential clients.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
- 9‑11+ years of relevant/increasing operations experience (preferably in experiential agency, sports or entertainment).
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet simultaneous deadlines.
- In‑depth understanding of the experiential landscape and proven ability to deliver projects from the ground up.
- Confidence to present and communicate with senior clients and to craft complex written communications.
- Capability to navigate tough issues and influence stakeholders toward desired outcomes.
- Proactive problem‑solving and foresight of issues before they arise.
- Comfort integrating into a team environment.
- Solution‑oriented mindset and continuous improvement focus.

Compensation
Base salary range: $105–117K, plus bonus potential if applicable for the role.
Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company, etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
