Job summary

The University of Utah College of Science seeks an experienced Director of Program Management to lead its expanding experiential learning portfolio, including the SRI, SRI-CAP, and ACCESS Scholars. This senior role requires vision to scale programs and align them with university priorities while maintaining program integrity.

You will direct strategy, operations, and partnerships, guiding staff, postdocs, and volunteers to deliver impactful, scalable experiences for science and mathematics

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with undergraduate research programs or experiential learning initiatives is highly desirable.
• Doctoral degree in science, education, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for experiential learning opportunities (SRI, SRI-CAP, ACCESS) and align with College/University priorities.
• Lead planning to scale programs while maintaining quality and impact.
• Oversee recruitment, development, and performance of staff, fellows, and volunteers.
• Foster partnerships with internal and external stakeholders including industry to grow opportunities.
• Ensure programs meet goals, safety, and assessment requirements.
