Qualificações

• Master’s or advanced degree in a relevant field.
• Illinois Professional Educator License with General Administrative or Principal endorsement.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in school leadership and teaching.
• Proven experience in program development, community engagement, and external partnerships.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with industry, higher education, and community partners.
• A passion for equity, innovation, and developing career and post-secondary pathways for diverse learners.
• Knowledge of trends and evidence-based practices in career technical education and post-secondary readiness.
• Exemplary interpersonal and effective communication skills.
• Demonstration of collaborative leadership.
• Illinois State Board of Education Work-Based Learning Designation preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead strategic and operational direction for the Center for Experiential Learning.
• Develop a multi-year vision for career exploration and experiential learning.
• Support academic departments in creating experiential learning and career pathways.
• Advance equitable access to experiential learning and postsecondary pathways.
• Provide professional learning and guidance on industry partnerships.
• Expand dual credit, credentials, and postsecondary opportunities with partners.
• Develop and manage structures to support programs, partnerships, and placements.
• Supervise staff and ensure effective program implementation and community engagement.
• Oversee budget, grants, and fundraising in collaboration with the New Trier Educational Foundation.
• Collect and report program data, outcomes, and portfolio-related metrics.
• Lead systems for student reflection and the Postsecondary Portfolio.
• Cultivate sponsor relationships and represent the district publicly.
• Oversee internships, capstone, and work-based learning programs.
• Coordinate with clubs and courses to weave career exploration throughout the student experience.
• Develop career exploration seminars and workforce engagement events.
• Document success stories and program impact for outreach.
• Attend to ongoing professional growth and perform other duties as assigned.
