Job summary

IMS is seeking a dynamic Director of IT to lead ERP solutions, analytics, and operational excellence. Reporting to IT leadership, you will guide four managers across development, QA, analytics, and BI reporting, ensuring reliable, scalable ERP functions that support supply chain, finance, and client operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information systems, computer science, business, or related field.
• 10+ years of enterprise applications or ERP experience, including leadership of multiple technology teams.
• Demonstrated ownership of ERP-based solutions across distribution, supply chain, finance, or related domains.
• Strong knowledge of ERP delivery, BI reporting, non-API integrations (EDI, batch/file-based).
• Ability to lead technical teams and challenge designs while ensuring clear ownership and accountability.
• Experience collaborating with integration, data, Salesforce/eCommerce, infrastructure, security, and PMO functions.
• Proven ability to manage managers, budgets, vendors, and drive measurable service outcomes.
• Experience adopting AI/automation to improve productivity and outcomes.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead four functional managers and develop succession, staffing, and professional development plans.
• Own the ERP-related applications roadmap and operating performance.
• Partner with IT leadership on priorities, budgets, investments, and vendor performance.
• Establish KPIs for service, quality, delivery, and productivity; drive improvements.
• Promote ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement across teams.
• Provide technical leadership for JD Edwards World on IBM i and related ERP apps.
• Oversee lifecycle planning, modernization, debt reduction, and production stability.
• Ensure secure, scalable, cost-effective ERP solutions with minimal downstream impact.
• Coordinate non-API integrations (EDI, batch/file-based) and define interface requirements.
• Collaborate with Salesforce team on Commerce Cloud/Service Cloud integrations.
• Provide analytics leadership with Power BI dashboards and reporting.
• Drive AI-enabled process improvements and measurable productivity gains.
• Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and project portfolio with PMO.
• Maintain disaster recovery, security, and business continuity alignment.
