Job summary

AdventHealth in Colorado seeks a senior Analytics, Performance Improvement and Project Management leader to oversee strategic and operational analytics initiatives for the division, guiding a team of data scientists, data engineers, analysts, and project managers.

You will translate complex data into actionable insights, drive system-wide improvements in care processes, patient experience, and financial performance, and partner with campus and system leaders to prioritize and deliver impactful

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science or healthcare related field.
• 4+ years of formal management experience preferred in analytics/healthcare.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Experience translating data insights into operational improvements.

Job Description:

• Oversee and lead strategic and operational activities related to providing analytics, project management, and performance improvement support for the division.
• Engages in projects to develop structural capability as well solving specific business problems.
• Serves as liaison in these functions for division and campus-level leadership, effectively translating and communicating technical work and impacts to healthcare system and clinical care.
• Innovates, adopts, and adapts service offerings, budget, staffing, policies, and talent development for the Analytics, Performance Improvement, and Project Management functions for the division aligned with the health system-level strategy.
• Provides direct supervision to managers for division's Analytics, Performance Improvement, and Project Management functions and the division-level organizational structure for these areas.
• Provides indirect supervision and mentoring to other matrix reporting relationships as necessary.
• Mentor leadership and other teams to embrace an analytical and critical thinking mindset for high - quality decision making.
• Work effectively with internal and external Leaders to ensure prioritization and timely execution of system enhancement and process improvement projects Provides leadership for interdepartmental, campus-wide, and system-wide initiatives to achieve improvements in clinical care processes, team engagement, patient experience, volume and financial performance.
• Provides overall leadership and support to a professional team of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Business Analysts, Clinical Analysts, Project Managers, and Process Improvement Specialists, including proactive guidance, troubleshooting support, issue escalation, and development opportunities through timely review and feedback.
