Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Lead Director, Solutions Architect - Epic Applications to lead architecture, design, and delivery of Epic solutions for STARS reporting, care coordination, and Healthy Planet. This senior role blends Epic expertise with value-based care concepts, translating regulatory requirements into scalable Epic architectures.

The incumbent will own end-to-end architecture, guide data models, and oversee reporting workbench and related tools, aligning with governance and vendor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Information Systems, or related field.
• 10+ years of healthcare IT experience with 5+ years focused on Epic applications.
• Hands-on or architectural experience with Epic Healthy Planet, Care Everywhere, and/or population health modules.
• Strong understanding of CMS STARS, HEDIS, and quality/risk reporting requirements.
• Experience architecting solutions involving Clarity, Caboodle, and Epic reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solutions architecture for Epic Healthy Planet and STARS/quality reporting.
• Design scalable data models linking Clarity/Caboodle, Healthy Planet, care management, and risk tools to reporting needs.
• Serve as technical authority on Epic population health tools and data integration.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture and data teams for governance and interoperability.
• Lead vendor relationships for STARS/quality reporting tools and population health platforms.
