Summary:
The Director of Environmental Services supports and collaborates with the Vice President of Support Services to plan, organize, direct and control the activities and staff activities for Environmental, Laundry and Linen department's at all organizational locations. Has 24 hour responsibility. Consistent with SMHC's mission, vision and values, the Director establishes goals, objectives, standards of performance through the development and implementation of operating policies and procedures. Responsible for oversight of the cleanliness at all SMHC locations utilizing accepted infection control techniques and isolation procedures. Develops processes for removal of all types of waste including managing appropriate service contracts for the department working with Materiel's Management. Serves as the organization’s hazardous material program administrator, developing policies for storage, disposal, and staff training, and ensuring adequate supply of linen properly processed, coordinates activities with other departments to ensure timely, safe, and efficient operation of SMHC facilities.

The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package.
The pay range for this position is $89,980.80 to $121,721.60 per year.
Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
