Job summary

MIT’s Department of Facilities seeks a Director, Business Systems and Technology to provide strategic and operational leadership for CSS’s business systems and technology portfolio.

You will lead enterprise applications, solution architecture, systems integration, modernization, and technology investments in a complex environment, translating needs into integrated technology strategies and managing from design to adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, business, technology, computer science, or a related field.
• At least ten years of progressive experience in business systems and IT leadership.
• Experience defining enterprise systems strategy and multi-year roadmaps.
• Experience managing a diverse portfolio of enterprise applications and vendor contracts.
• Ability to lead managers and influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for CSS’ business systems and technology portfolio.
• Lead business applications, solution architecture, systems integration, modernization, and technology investments.
• Translate business needs into integrated technology strategies and manage from design to adoption and support.
• Partner with IS&T, BDTO, vendors, and stakeholders to advocate for CSS priorities and advance MIT’s ERP transformation.
