Director, Enterprise Supply Partnerships:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director, Enterprise Supply Partnerships who is ready to join our rapidly growing Commercial Strategy team at Hotel Trader. You will be responsible for driving sales performance across the Hotel Trader network for Chains and PMS/CRS partnerships - helping to achieve aggressive KPI targets for the business. This cross-functional role will require a high-level of individual contribution, sales acumen, technical / API expertise, negotiation skills, and the ability to communicate effectively for engagement with executives at leading companies globally.

The Role:

You’ll take full ownership over the performance of Supply Enterprise Partnerships, including the prospecting, contracting, onboarding, and account management of Chain and PMS/CRS partners. It will be critical to work closely with partners to understand their system architecture, commercial & technical business needs, and how to drive performance in-line with Hotel Trader company objectives. On a day-to-day basis, you’ll work closely with the Head of Commercial Strategy to define and execute on strategies within a fast-paced and agile environment. Hotel Trader is 100% remote and you’ll be expected to spend a significant amount of time on Zoom, Slack, and other digital channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish relationships with Director/C-level executives at leading Chains and hotel technology partners globally.
  • Create the commercial and go-to-market strategy for Enterprise partnerships to drive profitability and scale the onboarding of new supply partners.
  • Analyze performance daily, weekly, and monthly to find gaps and opportunities with partners. This includes sales and technical data reviews to identify areas of growth and how to best utilize and increase adoption for new features launched on the platform.
  • Liaison with the Director, Technical Optimization to ensure connectivity is fully optimized and product sourced from Chains is distributed effectively across demand channels in the marketplace.
  • Work with senior leaders across Hotel Trader to identify successful strategies and tactics as well as developing monthly & quarterly business plans to achieve KPIs.
  • Implement creative ways to improve engagement and technical performance with partners.
  • Collaborate with Hotel Trader leadership to share partner insights and recommend new and innovative technical solutions based on Chain and hotel technology discussions/ feedback.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and meet partners in their HQ offices to align on strategic initiatives for long-term sustainable growth.
  • Communicate with company stakeholders across business verticals including team members in Development, Demand, Product, Technical Optimization, Finance, Customer Support, and Operations.
  • Be a daily example of Hotel Trader core values and commitment to culture.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience managing Chain and Hotel Technology partnerships for a travel agency or distribution solution provider.
  • A proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently on multiple projects effectively.
  • Solid understanding of technical optimization across API suites and platforms (channel managers, switches, travel agencies).
  • Practical knowledge and hands-on experience working with various forms of connectivity, data warehousing, and data visualization tools.
  • The ability to flourish in a start-up environment and expand leadership responsibilities over time as the business matures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be fluent in English.
  • A university degree (or equivalent education). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
