Job summary

Qualifacts is seeking a Director of Enterprise Software to lead architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise services. You will shape technical vision, raise the bar for engineering excellence, and build high-performing teams across engineering, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure.

You will define standards, drive delivery velocity, and ensure scalability, security, and reliability across platforms, while communicating progress to stakeholders and guiding modern modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading software architecture and development teams on large-scale systems.
• 15+ years hands-on experience designing scalable web and mobile software solutions.
• Proven experience with Model-Driven Development (MDD) and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Strong background building containerized microservices (.NET Core) and serverless apps (AWS Lambda).
• Experience with modern DevOps toolchains (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, CircleCI, or equivalent).
• Experience with application monitoring and logging platforms (ELK stack, New Relic, Splunk).

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the enterprise architecture vision, standards, and guidelines; mentor architects and tech leads.
• Lead cross-functional engineering teams with QA, PM, DevOps, and Infrastructure to deliver high-quality software on predictable timelines.
• Establish and enforce non-functional requirements (scalability, performance, security, reliability, observability).
• Own delivery excellence: drive continuous improvements in quality, velocity, and efficiency while meeting commitments.
• Communicate goals, priorities, responsibilities, and progress clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Define, track, and act on KPIs reflecting team health, delivery performance, and technical quality.
• Identify opportunities to modernize platforms, processes, and tooling; sponsor organizational improvements.
