Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Director, Business Improvement to lead enterprise-level improvement efforts in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align initiatives with strategy and drive accountability.

In this remote role, you will turn data, research, and operational insight into clear recommendations that improve execution and governance across a portfolio of initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's or higher in a STEM or business-related field with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree with 10+ years in analytical or strategic roles.
• Proven experience advising executive leadership on strategic priorities and investment decisions.
• Experience managing enterprise or multi-business-unit initiative portfolios, including governance design.
• Ability to navigate a fast-paced, matrixed environment with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and finance skills, with proficiency in MS Office for executive-level presentations.
• Experience conducting research and data analysis to support business cases and operational improvements.
• Preferred background in pharma, biotech, healthcare, or MedTech.

Responsibilities

• Oversee execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities
• Establish reporting and performance standards for initiative visibility and risk management
• Identify and elevate risks and issues to leadership with recommended solutions
• Maintain governance structures and decision frameworks across initiatives
• Ensure prioritization and trade-off decisions across competing initiatives
• Hold initiative owners accountable for delivery and alignment with strategic objectives
• Synthesize inputs into enterprise-level insights and recommendations for executive leadership
