Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Senior Director, Crisis Management to build and lead an enterprise crisis management program, setting strategy, governance, and protocols to prepare for and recover from critical incidents, threats, and disruptions. The role requires 12+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and a proven track record in high-pressure, cross-functional crisis leadership.

• Proven experience building and managing enterprise crisis management programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enhance the enterprise crisis management program with governance, response strategies, and protocols.
• Direct crisis response for high-severity incidents with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure readiness to identify, respond to, and recover from incidents impacting people, operations, and assets.
• Lead enterprise threat monitoring and intelligence efforts to identify emerging risks.
• Design tabletop exercises, simulations, and drills to validate plans and close gaps.
• Oversee post-incident reviews and translate findings into action plans.
• Define and report KPIs, program maturity, and preparedness benchmarks.
