Job summary

Innoviva Specialty Therapeutics seeks a Director of Systems Architecture, Planning & Security based in Waltham, MA, to design and evolve the company’s enterprise IT landscape. You will define the technology roadmap, govern data platforms, and embed security from the outset across all systems.

Lead architecture, data integration, and AI/ML governance while guiding security, risk management, and cross-team collaboration to support critical care and infectious disease initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience designing, implementing enterprise IT systems and roadmaps.
• Experience with data warehouse, ETL/ELT pipelines, iPaaS tools.

Responsibilities

• System Design & Roadmap: Defines standards for the technology stack to ensure scalability and security.
• Solution Evaluation: Researches and recommends new technologies to improve efficiency and security.
• Data Warehouse Oversight: Guides development, configuration, and administration of the data warehouse with security in mind.
• Systems Integration: Manages integrations across internal/external systems and data sources using iPaaS.
• ETL/ELT Pipeline Management: Designs data pipelines moving data into the warehouse for analysis.
• BI Reporting Oversight: Ensures BI data is accurate and secure for reporting.
• AI/ML Roadmap & Governance: Plans AI/ML adoption with governance, security, and enablement.
• Training and Skill Development: Defines training to enable responsible AI usage.
