Job summary

Western Union seeks a Director of Enterprise Architecture to define and lead the enterprise architecture strategy and standards across the organization. You will partner with business, product, engineering, security, and operations to ensure technology decisions align with priorities and approved standards.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering, enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or technology leadership with progressive leadership responsibility.
• Experience managing, mentoring, and developing architects, engineers, and technical leaders.
• Strong cloud architecture experience; AWS experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence executive stakeholders.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture domains including security, governance, data, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive enterprise architecture strategy, standards, governance, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps.
• Translate business objectives into scalable, secure, cost-effective technology solutions.
• Lead architecture reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise standards across programs.
• Mentor architects and engineers, building high-performing teams and governance forums.
