Job summary

EverQuote, Inc. is looking for a Director of Enterprise Analytics to lead a team translating large insurance customers’ needs into optimized acquisition campaigns within the EverQuote marketplace.

You will work directly with customers and cross-functional stakeholders across Business Development, Data Science, Engineering, and Product Management to align carrier bidding with traffic acquisition. You’ll guide a high-impact analytics function and report to the Head of Analytics.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of analytics experience with a track record solving complex business problems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or related field.
• Experience managing people, including senior analysts or managers.
• Experience engaging B2B customers directly.
• Strong SQL skills; Snowflake a plus.
• Solid experimentation fundamentals: significance, power, incrementality, confound control.
• Clear communication with technical and executive stakeholders.

About the role:

As Director, Enterprise Analytics, you will lead the team that is responsible for translating ourlargest customers’ needs into optimized acquisition campaigns in the EverQuote marketplace.You will work closely with our customers directly, and with stakeholders in Business Development, Data Science, Engineering, Product Management, to shape EverQuote’s offeringinto the best channel for profitable policy growth for insurance carriers. You will help your teambuild bridges into other parts of the Analytics organization to align carrier bidding with our owntraffic acquisition.

You are a talented analyst and leader of analysts. You can develop and strengthen a team, butyou also enjoy rolling up your sleeves to execute work yourself. This role is built for someonewith range; you know how to communicate with customers, build strong cross-functionalrelationships, use quantitative methods to uncover business opportunity, and continually uplevelyour team. You will report directly to the Head of Analytics and play a key role in shapingstrategy across the Analytics function at EverQuote.

What you’ll do:

What you bring to the team:

• 8+ years of progressive experience in Analytics or a related domain, with a focus on quantitative business problem-solving
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or related field OR demonstrated analytical ability or equivalent hands-on professional experience.
• Proven experience managing people, ideally including managing senior analysts or managers
• Experience and skill in engaging B2B customers directly
• Strong SQL skills; able to independently pull, shape, and analyze large datasets (Snowflake a plus)
• Solid experimentation fundamentals: significance, power, incrementality measurement, confound control
• Clear communication with both technical and executive stakeholders

Nice to have:

• Experience in the insurance industry, digital performance marketing, or marketplace businesses - these experiences are valuable but not required, and a great candidate will learn these on the job

The base salary actually offered for this position is determined by several factors, including the applicant's job-related skills, relevant experience, education or training, and work location. The base salary for this full-time hybrid role is $160,900 - $185,000.

In addition to base salary, our total compensation package may include participation in variable cash bonus programs, equity, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility which are designated by role.
