Job summary

SCAD seeks an Executive Director for Enterprise Technology to drive the university’s AI strategy and ensure SCAD remains a global leader in creative careers by safely integrating emerging tech. You will develop and maintain a multi-year IT roadmap, oversee the project portfolio, and lead standardized project management while guiding organizational change toward AI-driven workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or related discipline.
10+ years of progressive IT leadership with focus on strategy and project delivery.
MBA or other relevant master’s degree; PMP or ITIL certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a multi-year IT roadmap aligned with the university’s strategic goals.
Lead enterprise-wide software, hardware, and service contract negotiations with vendors.
Implement standardized project management methodologies across the department.
Lead organizational change efforts required for AI-driven or automated workflows.
Manage the enterprise technology budget to ensure fiscal responsibility.
Develop policies and standards for technology procurement and lifecycle management.
Partner with Enterprise Applications team to embed AI capabilities into core platforms (LMS, CRM, ERP).
Continuously monitor the tech landscape to ensure SCAD’s infrastructure supports large data/processing needs.
