Job summary

Georgia Tech seeks an experienced executive to provide enterprise leadership for technology, data, and AI, aligning investments with institutional priorities and ensuring digital transformation across teaching, research, and administration.

The role interfaces with executive leadership, external providers, and internal stakeholders to modernize systems, data platforms, and cybersecurity while driving innovation and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Ten years of job-related experience.
Educational background as listed: Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Lead an institution-wide digital, data, and AI strategic plan aligned with academic, research, and administrative missions.
Build relationships with faculty, researchers, staff, students, leadership, vendors, and IT leaders to enable innovation and excellence.
Oversee governance, prioritization, and delivery of major programs across enterprise technology, data, and AI.
Modernize processes and operating models through data-driven decision-making and automation.
Advise senior leadership on investments, governance, risk, and long-term value realization.
Develop budgets for university-wide technology, data, and AI initiatives.
Communicate strategies and establish KPIs, dashboards, and governance across the institute.
Ensure compliance with legislation, accessibility standards, and institutional policies.
Provide executive oversight for risk management, resilience, and business continuity.
Perform other duties as assigned.
