Job Title: Director – IoT & Digital Engineering Solutions (Oil & Gas)

Overview:

This position is part of a Digital Engineering and IoT business unit focused on driving the growth of digital services for major Oil and Gas clients in North America. The ideal candidate will bring over 12 years of experience in solution-based sales, client engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to develop and deliver value-driven digital and IoT offerings tailored for the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Present, promote, and sell IoT, digital, and platform development services to existing and prospective Oil & Gas clients, including those in Oil Field Services, Equipment, and Distribution sectors.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to proactively shape proposals based on client needs.
• Analyze customer requirements (e.g., proactive pitches, RFIs, RFPs) and craft innovative, best-fit solutions.
• Engage with internal sales and pre-sales teams to architect and deliver comprehensive client solutions.
• Provide oversight for large, strategic transformation engagements; participate in steering committees, manage escalations, and ensure successful delivery.
• Coordinate with third-party partners where needed to integrate suitable product offerings.
• Support development of sales collateral, value propositions, and high-quality proposals in Connected Assets, Digital Platforms, and Industrial IoT.
• Represent the business unit at industry events, analyst briefings, partner engagements, and seminars.
• Drive market awareness through targeted campaigns, tradeshows, thought leadership, client roadshows, and workshops.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 12+ years working with Oil & Gas customers in professional services or engineering deployments.
• Expertise in IoT platforms and data management across exploration, drilling, and production.
• Familiarity with IT/OT systems such as SCADA, RTU, PLC, and DCS.
• Experience in domains like Offshore Drilling Operations, Well Production, Asset Management, and Field Services.
• Strong background in Digital Engineering, Cloud, IoT, Analytics, and Edge-to-Cloud architectures.
• Industry certifications in Azure, AWS, AI/ML, or similar technologies are a plus.
• Ability to craft Point of View documents leveraging predictive analytics and optimization strategies.
• Proven consultative sales expertise with executive-level engagement.
• Independently scoped and delivered projects valued at $5–10 million.
• Strong client references and a track record of trusted partnerships over 5+ years.
