WelbeHealth is seeking a hands-on Director, Engineering to lead and mentor a distributed team delivering healthcare technology platforms and digital products for participants and consumers. The Director, Engineering is the strategic owner to the build and delivery of WelbeHealth's healthcare technology platforms and software applications, leading a team of onshore and offshore engineers to create the technology at the center of how our interdisciplinary teams care for the most vulnerable seniors. This role reports to the VP of Technology. A hands‑on engineering leader, the Engineering Director drives core engineering practices across the team, including code quality, design and code reviews, testing discipline, and delivery rhythm. This role provides technical leadership in software architecture, engineering processes, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and support a competitive advantage, particularly in AI‑assisted engineering. The Engineering Director works closely with business stakeholders to design technical solutions and drive engineering delivery for the product, from requirements discovery through production deployment and operational support. Collaborates effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to promote the WelbeHealth values, team culture, and mission.

Compensation consists of base salary plus bonus. WelbeHealth offers a competitive total rewards package that includes a 401(k) match, comprehensive healthcare coverage, and a broad range of additional benefits. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and relevant qualifications.
