Job summary

Delta Air Lines is seeking a senior leader to head engine maintenance operations. This role requires driving strategic and operational results, developing staff, and coordinating with Finance, MRO, Supplier Operations, DMS and Engineering.

You will build annual plans, optimize inventory and capacity, and ensure safe, compliant engine operation. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in leadership, with engine maintenance or propulsion experience and a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of relevant experience required.
• Engine maintenance, Propulsion Engineering or Engine Finance experience required.
• Minimum five years of leadership experience including leading teams and leaders.
• Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
• Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.

Responsibilities

• Lead engine maintenance operations and provide accountability for strategic and operational results.
• Develop vision and strategies for Materials Strategy, Master Scheduling and supplier operations.
• Manage inventory balance, budget objectives, and long-term capacity planning.
• Collaborate with Finance, MRO Services, Supplier Operations, DMS and Engineering.
• Create annual business plans with shop visit schedules, WIP levels, and operating costs.
• Ensure safe, efficient, compliant engine operation and drive continuous improvement.
