Job summary

University Hospital seeks a Director of End User Computing to provide strategic leadership for Desktop, Engineering, and Service Desk teams. You will oversee hardware, software, and user support across all locations, shaping IT services for optimal user experience and operational efficiency.

The role requires coordinating with senior leaders to align initiatives with organizational goals, managing budgets, and driving the rollout of new sites while ensuring HIPAA compliance and high reliability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum seven (7) years of experience managing hospital information systems, including at least three (3) years of staff management; five (5) years preferred.
• Excellent communication, follow-up and customer support skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; proactive issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Leads Desktop, Service Desk, and Engineering Teams to deliver high-quality technical support.
• Ensures IT hardware infrastructure and services meet objectives in collaboration with leadership.
• Aligns IT objectives with organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
• Manages resource allocation of personnel, technology, and budget across locations.
• Oversees OS rollout plans, deployment strategies, and ongoing maintenance.
• Maintains 24/7 endpoint device operations in partnership with other IT teams.
