Job summary

Brooklyn Law School is seeking a Director of Employer Relations to develop engagement strategies with students, alumni and employers to increase internships and post-graduate employment opportunities. You will work closely with the Associate Dean of Career Development to implement outreach and track outcomes.

The role emphasizes building strong employer partnerships, managing recruitment events, and maintaining employer databases while supervising staff. A hybrid work arrangement is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3+ years of employer relations experience.
• Knowledge of legal hiring processes.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and execute with attention to detail.
• Strong event planning and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with employers and partners; track partnerships toward program goals.
• Proactively contact employers for externships, internships, and post-graduate opportunities.
• Develop strategies to cultivate new job leads and oversee outreach efforts.
• Oversee recruitment activities including big law recruitment, Meet the Firms, and career fairs.
• Coordinate posting of positions and manage the employer database; act as liaison with posting requirements.
