Job summary

Lincoln Investment in the Philadelphia area is seeking a strategic leader to grow the Employee Advisor channel, recruit top financial professionals, and strengthen planning‑based client experiences.

You will ensure advisors deliver trusted advice, retain clients, and operate compliantly while collaborating with the Asset Management Consulting team to deliver the right client experience and support advisor growth.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years in financial services with sales leadership and supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning tools and Salesforce; proficient with MS Office.
  • Experience collaborating with executives and serving clients and financial professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead growth and development of the Employee Advisor channel.
  • Coach professionals toward personal, professional, and business development goals.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and supervise during inspections.
  • Plan and facilitate monthly team meetings.
  • Coordinate seminars and Lincoln-sponsored events.
  • Oversee annual performance reviews and salary reviews.
  • Support succession planning through integration and servicing of acquired books.
  • Lead a culture of compliance aligned with regulations and policies.
  • Serve as the on-site supervisor during inspections and branch contact for compliance.
  • Review transactions, email, and client communications; escalate issues as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal departments on facility, tech, and purchasing needs.

Basic Function

Lead growth and development of the Employee Advisor channel by increasing advisor productivity, recruiting new financial professionals, and strengthening planning‑based client experience. Ensure financial professionals within the Employee Advisor Group are positioned to deliver trusted advice, retain clients, and operate compliantly.

General Expectations
  • Lead in a manner consistent with Lincoln’s core values and foster collaboration across the team.
  • Drive a consistent, modern client experience centered on financial planning and the implementation of advice.
  • Grow sales and revenue by deepening client relationships, increasing wallet share, and supporting new client acquisition.
  • Partner across Lincoln, including working closely with the Asset Management Consulting team, to deliver the right client experience and support advisor growth.
  • Implement and monitor Employee Advisor Group budget and sales goals in partnership with the Chief Business Development Officer.
Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Coach financial professionals toward personal, professional, and business development goals.
  • Train financial professionals and support staff on technology, paperwork, compliance procedures, and operational best practices.
  • Partner with financial professionals and Home Office teams to resolve operational issues efficiently.
  • Plan, schedule, and facilitate team meetings at least monthly.
  • Coordinate seminars, financial wellness engagements, and Lincoln-sponsored events.
  • Complete annual performance reviews and support related salary review processes.
  • Support succession planning through the integration and servicing of acquired books of business.
  • Field Compliance and Supervision: Lead a culture of compliance aligned with federal, state, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Serve as the on-site supervisor during compliance or regulatory inspections and act as the branch-level point of contact for compliance procedures.
  • Review the FIS transaction blotter, email, correspondence, new business suitability, and client complaints; accelerate issues as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with internal departments on site management needs, including facilities, technology, supplies, mail, printing, phones, and related purchases.
Knowledge/Experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of financial services industry experience, including sales leadership and supervisory experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning tools, Salesforce, Microsoft Office applications, and the adoption of appropriate tools to support advisor effectiveness.
  • Experience working with clients, financial professionals, and executives.
Education/Training
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Required securities licenses: Series 7 and Series 63/65 or Series 66.
  • Preferred credentials: Series 24, CFP, CLU, or ChFC.
Skills Required
  • Strong communication, client service, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Planning, execution, project management, and leadership capabilities.
Physical/Other Requirements

May sit at a workstation and view a video display screen for extended periods. Periods of fast‑paced work are normal, particularly when meeting deadlines.
