Job summary

The incumbent reports to the Senior Director of the Center for Emergency and Short term Stabilization and must demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, and strong leadership in crisis services and staff development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a human services field.
• Five years of emergency/crisis services or equivalent experience.
• Licensed as an LCSW or an LPC preferred; license-eligible required.
• Certification as a screener within probationary period.
• Valid Virginia driver’s license and acceptable driving record with insurance for business use.

Responsibilities

• Administers and supervises the Emergency Services Team within the Region Ten catchment area.
• Ensures compliance with applicable standards and interagency relations; develops emergency services planning and staff compliance.
• Reports to the Senior Director for Region Ten’s Center for Emergency and Short term Stabilization; exercises initiative and independent judgment.
