About the Hospital and Department:

• Position will manage a growing 23 bed ED that sees over 48,000 annual patient visits
• Very well-supported by a team of Assistant Nurse Managers, Charge Nurses and a Department Educator
• Reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer

About the Director, Emergency Department (RN) Role:

Primary responsibilities will include the strategic and visionary direction of the department, establishing goals and objectives, serving as a mentor to the nursing team, ensuring regulatory compliance, and building and maintaining positive physician relationships. We are seeking a collaborative and dynamic leader who will be able to ensure the best patient care is provided to the community.

Qualifications & Requirements for Director, Emergency Department (RN):

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Active RN License
• 5+ years of ER clinical nursing experience required
• 2+ years of ER leadership experience at Manager level or above
• INSPIRATIONAL and collaborative leadership style
• Proven track record of success in leading teams, improving employee engagement, ED metrics, and patient experience/satisfaction
• Must be able to build positive and collaborative relationships across all levels
