Job summary

ECPI University in Greensboro, NC is seeking an EET Program Director to manage all aspects of the Electronics Engineering Technology program, including instruction, curriculum, student success, budgeting and accreditation standards. The role provides leadership to faculty and students, ensures compliance with state and federal requirements, and collaborates with advisory boards to align the program with industry needs.

Some evenings may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctorate with 18 graduate hours in Electronics Engineering Technology.
• Experience teaching in higher education and curriculum development.
• 3–5 years of industry experience within the past ten years.

Responsibilities

• Administer high-level academic support to ensure retention of students.
• Oversee faculty hiring, training and evaluation.
• Lead the program review and revision process and curriculum planning.
• Develop course schedules and manage department budgeting.
• Engage with advisory boards and accreditation bodies.
• Teach classes for absent faculty as necessary.
