Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a Director of Ecommerce Engineering, Web & Mobile to lead the teams supporting Ashleyfurniture.com and the company’s mobile app. This leadership role owns the Salesforce Commerce Cloud implementation, Storefront Next transition, web engineering, and mobile app support.

The objective is to create an engineering operating model with clear accountability, predictable execution, and measurable results.

Qualifications

Experience leading engineering teams for customer-facing ecommerce web or mobile experiences.
Experience with platform migration, modernization, or digital transformation.
Strong ability to translate business objectives into engineering strategy and execution.
Experience developing engineering managers and senior engineers.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering execution for customer-facing ecommerce web and mobile experiences.
Provide engineering leadership for Salesforce Commerce Cloud with a headless implementation.
Guide platform migration, modernization, and changes to operating models.
Establish ownership, delivery metrics, reliability expectations, and maintainability standards.
Build an operating structure for cart, checkout, site content, mobile apps, analytics, and SEO/GEO.
