As the Director E-Commerce Packaging Sales, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with key eCommerce customers in North America to drive revenue growth and ensure customer satisfaction in the growing mailer bag sector. You will serve as the primary point of contact for designated accounts, understanding their needs, providing solutions, and coordinating internal resources to meet their requirements. This is a player coach role with direct sales reports as well as responsibility for select strategic customers.This position will report into the Romeoville HQ offices and can be located home-based in the Seattle, WA area or in the Romeoville office and willing to travel extensively.


Your Mission:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for the sale of mailerbag packaging to key customers operating in the eCommerce space, aligned with the company's sales objectives.
  • Lead Key Account Managers and Sales Executives to deliver the E-Commerce/mailerbagannual business plan.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders at customer organizations, including executives, procurement managers, and packaging leaders.
  • Understand the unique needs and challenges of each account and proactively propose innovative packaging solutions to address their requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, design, production, and logistics, to deliver integrated solutions that meet customer expectations.
  • Drive sales growth by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within key accounts, leveraging the full range of our product portfolio and service offerings.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of agreements with customers to ensure mutual benefit and long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor account performance, track sales metrics, and analyze market trends to identify risks and opportunities for revenue enhancement.
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasts, reports, and updates on key account activities to senior management.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally, serving as a trusted advisor and problem-solver.

Your Profile:

  • Proven track record of success in Sales Leadership roles, with at least 5 years of B2B sales experience.
  • Sales experience providing mailerbags or other packaging solutions into businesses that deliver their product through E-Commerce channels.
  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience leading a team of at least 2-3 direct reports.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities, with a customer-centric approach and a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate value
