Job summary

Revecore is seeking a Director, Diagnosis-Related Group Validation (DRGV) to lead the development and launch of our DRGV service, expanding Billing and Coding Optimization capabilities across client engagements. This role blends DRGV expertise with operating model design, technology-enabled workflows, staffing, pricing, and go-to-market strategy for scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Deep DRGV expertise with hands-on coding experience.
• Expert-level MS-DRG classification and reimbursement knowledge.
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle and CDI processes.

Responsibilities

• Define operating model, workflows, staffing, productivity metrics and quality standards for the DRGV service line.
• Provide SME guidance across DRGV, including coding, MS-DRG methodology, revenue integrity and claims.
• Partner with Product, Data, AI, Development, and Operations to translate DRGV requirements into scalable processes and tech solutions.
• Identify opportunities to use AI and automation to improve account selection, prioritization, processing and delivery.
• Serve as liaison between DRGV SMEs and Product/Engineering, supporting software development and complex code-table needs.
• Establish performance metrics for the service line and monitor progress against goals.
• Advise on pricing models, marketing strategy, positioning and sales enablement for DRGV offering.
• Support client-facing sales efforts with DRGV expertise during discussions.
• Collaborate with the BCO team to deliver DRGV services to clients.
• Drive execution across a matrixed organization to embed the new solution.
