Job summary

Revecore is seeking a Director, Diagnosis-Related Group Validation (DRGV) to lead the development and launch of the DRGV service offering, expanding our Billing and Coding Optimization capabilities. The role blends deep DRGV expertise with service-line strategy and execution to create a scalable operating model and tech-enabled workflows.

You will partner with Product, Data, AI, Development, and Operations to translate DRGV requirements into scalable processes, drive AI-enabled automation,

Qualifications

• Hands-on DRGV coding experience and understanding of DRGV outcomes.
• Expert knowledge of MS-DRG classification and reimbursement methodology.
• Deep understanding of revenue integrity, charge capture, coding, and CDI.
• Experience interpreting payer contracts and claim adjudication processes.
• Experience leading DRGV programs, workflows, and staffing models.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.
• Understanding of how AI/automation can improve DRGV processes.

Responsibilities

• Define operating model, workflows, staffing, productivity metrics, and quality standards for scaling the DRGV service line.
• Provide subject matter expertise across DRGV, including coding and MS-DRG methodology.
• Partner with Product, Data, AI, Development, and Operations to translate DRGV requirements into scalable processes and tech solutions.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation for improved account selection and processing.
• Serve as liaison between DRGV experts and Product/Engineering, including supporting code-table requirements.
• Establish performance metrics and monitor progress against goals.
• Advise on pricing models, marketing strategy, and sales enablement for DRGV offering.
• Support client-facing discussions with DRGV expertise.
