CRH plc is seeking a Director of Distribution to lead distribution center operations across Morristown, TN and related facilities. The role focuses on safety, service, inventory accuracy, labor productivity, and cost control, with a mandate to standardize practices and drive scalable growth.

The position emphasizes building strong distribution teams, implementing KPI-driven systems, and partnering with manufacturing, sales, and supply chain functions to optimize throughput and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 10+ years in distribution/warehouse/operations.
• Proven track record improving productivity and cost.
• Strong understanding of DC operations and inventory control.
• Experience managing budgets and KPIs.
• Knowledge of ERP and warehouse tech.
• Continuous improvement leadership (Lean/Six Sigma).

Responsabilités

• Lead DC leadership teams and build a safety-focused culture.
• Set KPIs for safety, service, inventory accuracy, and productivity.
• Optimize the network for capacity, product flow, storage, and service.
• Improve flow from production through storage, distribution and delivery.
• Drive Lean-based continuous improvement across locations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and HR to support fulfillment.
• Oversee distribution budgets, forecasts, and capital projects.
