Job summary

Atwell, LLC seeks a self-motivated Associate Director to lead electrical service design teams for utility projects and collaborate with distribution design and engineering groups nationwide. The role focuses on developing opportunities, strategic vision, and ensuring financial and team success through leadership and mentorship.

The position requires 8+ years in distribution design, the ability to train and mentor staff, and strong communication to manage client relationships and projects.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) or more years of experience in distribution design and engineering.
• Ability to train and mentor project team.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs team members, including hiring, onboarding, training, reviewing, and mentoring.
• Establishes annual business plans and department objectives with leadership.
• Organizes project teams and manages financial performance, expenditures, and invoicing.
• Develops project plans, maintains client relationships, and ensures workflow accuracy.
• Communicates with clients and regulatory agencies as needed and supports business development.
• Develops future business through marketing support and client relations.
• Ensures team performance and provides leadership to project teams.
• Maintains professional knowledge and participates in professional societies.
• Ensures product quality and Atwell reputation by following standards.
