Job summary

Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA seeks a Director of Disability and Access to lead the College's Disability and Access Office, advancing accessibility and inclusion for students with disabilities. The role encompasses strategy, staff development, budget management, and collaboration across campus to remove barriers and promote student success.

A flagship EDGE program for incoming neurodivergent students will be designed and implemented, with outcomes measured and sustained funding.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in higher education, student affairs, disability studies, counseling, or related field.
• Progressive experience in disability services or accessibility in higher education.
• Experience supervising professional staff.
• Knowledge of disability access requirements and higher education practices.
• Ability to develop cross-department programs and collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision and strategic direction for the Disability and Access Office.
• Oversee administration and daily operations, establishing priorities and workflows.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop professional staff.
• Set annual goals aligned with student success, retention, and accessibility.
• Manage budget and pursue expansion through grants and partnerships.
• Develop tracking systems for office activity and program outcomes.
• Lead design and assessment of the E.D.G.E program for incoming students.
• Collaborate with campus partners to address systemic barriers to access.
• Represent the office as a subject-matter expert on disability, accessibility, and neurodiversity.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for College leadership.
