Job summary

K&L Gates is seeking a Director of Digital & Technology Strategy & Execution to align strategy with delivery across the technology function. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, computer science, or related field; MBA or master's preferred.
• Ten+ years in technology strategy, delivery, or operations leadership including PMO/portfolio responsibility.
• 5+ years leading and developing teams, in chief-of-staff or PMO roles.
• Experience translating executive strategy into outcomes in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Experience in professional services, legal, or client-driven environments preferred.
• Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PfMP; ITIL/BRMP are advantages.
• Executive presence and credibility to act as trusted advisor.
• Strong program/portfolio discipline, fiscal governance, and ROI focus.
• Outstanding communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Sound judgement and discretion with sensitive matters.
• Ability to prioritize multiple workstreams under pressure.
• Fluency in core tech domains (cloud, data, cybersecurity, app delivery, AI).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the CDTO's principal execution partner, delivering strategic priorities from decision to measurable completion.
• Lead the PMO and BRM teams, setting operating model, governance, and delivery methodologies.
• Own end-to-end technology project and program portfolio: intake, prioritization, resourcing, benefits realization.
• Establish portfolio reporting across scope, schedule, budget, risk, and value for executives.
• Oversee financial planning and forecasting aligned with budgets and investment priorities.
• Mature delivery capabilities, tooling, and standards; coach PMs and BRMs.
• Lead BRMs to build trusted partnerships with leaders and translate business strategy to tech outcomes.
• Orchestrate annual/quarterly planning cadence for technology organization.
