Janus Henderson Investors in New York is seeking a Director to lead the launch and governance of Digital Asset Operations within the COO's Office. You will shape operating model, controls, and launch readiness for tokenized investment products and blockchain-enabled servicing, partnering with Innovation, Transfer Agency, and Investments.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in asset management and investment operations.
• Strong understanding of front-to-back investment servicing processes.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across business, ops, tech, risk, compliance and legal.
• Exposure to digital assets, tokenization, blockchain-enabled products and digital custody.
• Ability to translate tech concepts into operational requirements, controls and plans.
• Strategic thinking in evolving environments with stakeholder influence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executive materials.
• Experience designing operating models, processes and control design.
• Strong analytical skills across multiple workstreams.
• Balance innovation with risk management and regulatory expectations.
• Collaborative and decisive execution without heavy existing frameworks.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Own the development of operating procedures, control frameworks and readiness plans for digital asset initiatives.
• Establish operating model docs, RACI, decision logs, risk tracking and launch checklists.
• Define run-the-business and change-the-business requirements for digital asset operations.
• Design workflows for token issuance, onboarding, settlements and investor reporting.
• Assess interoperability between blockchain infra and traditional fund platforms.
• Define operational controls for tokenized share classes and settlement finality.
• Define servicing model for tokenized share classes including distribution readiness and reconciliations.
• Oversee due diligence and onboarding of external partners and vendors.
• Establish governance forums, decision-making and reporting for digital asset projects.
• Identify regulatory considerations and control requirements for tokenized products.
• Partner with Distribution and Investments on client and regional requirements.
• Monitor market developments and regulatory changes related to digital assets.
