Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline seeks a Director (Diagnostic Execution) to lead operational biomarker and diagnostic activities across the ADC portfolio. You will manage a team of Diagnostic Delivery Leads and oversee external testing partners to support clinical development and regulatory submissions.

The role reports to the Senior Director, Head of Diagnostic Execution and ensures delivery within quality, timeline, budget, and regulatory requirements, enabling drug-diagnostic co-development worldwide.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education in life sciences or related field.
• Experience in oncology diagnostics development and operational delivery.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and external labs.
• Strong knowledge of biomarker-driven drug development and global processes.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams; AI/digital tool use.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational delivery of biomarker and diagnostic activities across ADC portfolio.
• Provide operational leadership to diagnostic programs from development to regulatory approval.
• Manage external partners, vendor selection, governance and performance.
