Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Director of Test & Evaluation Engineering with a focus on developmental testing. You will lead a cross-functional team, shape T&E strategies, and drive complex flight and ground tests across multiple platform families, ensuring safety and compliance with DoD guidance.

You will work closely with program leadership, manage resources, and communicate progress during milestone reviews, while enabling growth and contract opportunities through rigorous testing and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years as a test conductor/director for developmental aircraft and payloads, or 10+ years in missile systems leadership.
• Strong grasp of engineering concepts and DoD program processes.
• Experience with surrogate booster motor integration and safety requirements.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD, AS standards, EVM, and government range testing.
• Proven leadership, ability to travel, and security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse team of test engineers across multiple UAS and weapon systems.
• Develop and execute T&E strategies for integration, planning, and operations.
• Guide flight test engineers and control room personnel in planning and reporting.
• Oversee system and subsystem test coordination and progress communication.
• Collaborate with program leadership and Growth/Proposal teams during contract shaping.
