The role partners with engineering leaders to reduce friction, drive productivity, and advance AI-assisted development while delivering scalable, secure, and innovative solutions across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 12+ years of software engineering with leadership experience.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted engineering tools.
• Experience leading developer platforms and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Shape and drive the technical strategy for Allstate's Developer Experience.
• Lead and grow high-performing, global engineering teams.
• Evaluate and govern developer tools and platforms for security and reliability.
• Champion AI-assisted development and modern engineering practices.
• Partner with product, architecture, and platform teams to deliver a consistent dev experience.
