Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Director for Design Ecosystem & IP Partnerships to lead the development and execution of GF's ecosystem and IP partnership strategy. You will build strategic relationships across EDA and IP partners, AI startups, and research institutions to drive growth and market impact.

Work closely with the CSO and senior leaders to identify, develop, and scale partnerships that strengthen GF's market position and unlock new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, alliances, business development, corporate strategy, product management, or related functions.
• Proven track record developing and managing strategic partnerships that drive business results.
• Experience working across global and matrixed organizations.
• Strong commercial and relationship management skills.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive influence capabilities.
• Ability to translate market and technology trends into actionable partnership strategies.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and scale partnerships across GF's design ecosystem, IP partnerships, and related tech alliances.
• Collaborate with the Chief Strategy Officer and senior leaders to align partnerships with GF's strategic goals.
• Drive growth, innovation, and new business opportunities through executive relationship management.
• Ensure cross-functional execution across Product, Business Units, Sales, Corporate Development, and Marketing.
