The Director of Demand Planning leads strategic sourcing and forecasting for critical supply chain elements, with primary emphasis on major commodity categories including steel, wire, and cable tray. This role also oversees subcontract management across multiple systems and scopes of work as well as managing the Bill of Materials (BOM) creation process in partnership with Engineering to support accurate order planning.

This position operates primarily in a professional office environment, with a hybrid work schedule. Regularly requires the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, operate a computer, and communicate effectively. Occasionally requires the ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. May involve periodic visits to MPS manufacturing facilities or project sites, requiring the ability to navigate industrial environments and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest, and steel-toed boots.
