Job summary

M and C Creekside LLC is seeking an experienced Director of Child Care to lead program development and oversee classroom curricula for our children's care. You will support current staff, manage scheduling, and ensure effective communication across teams while implementing strategies to grow our outreach efforts.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of child development and education, and prior staff management experience.

Qualifications

• Licensing/certification to perform this role is required or strongly preferred.
• Experience working with children is essential.
• Past experience managing a team is required.
• Deep understanding of childcare, child development, and education.

Responsibilities

• Select an accredited curriculum based on each classroom’s needs and programs.
• Ensure compliance with county and state regulations, as well as with the Department of Education.
• Manage staff expectations and handle scheduling and interpersonal conflicts.
• Review and approve all lesson plans, printed materials, bulletin announcements, and newsletters.
• Plan extra-curricular activities, including in-house entertainment and field trips.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a deep understanding of child development and education, and experience managing staff.
