M&T Bank, located in Williamsville, NY, seeks a Senior Data Visualization Manager to lead multiple visualization teams and partner with senior leadership. You will guide the development of dashboards/reports and promote a culture of continuous improvement across visualization practices.

Responsibilities include ensuring QA of data models, designing intuitive templates, and enabling self-service BI. Requires extensive experience with BI tools and SQL, plus strong leadership and storytelling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 9 years related experience, or 13 years combined education/work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years managerial/supervisory experience.
• Hands-on experience with at least one data visualization tool.
• Experience designing and developing advanced dashboards/reports and data visualizations.
• Expert knowledge of data visualization approaches.
• Experience using SQL to analyze, extract, and transform data.

Responsabilités

• Lead visualization teams to enable data-informed decisions by gathering requirements from senior management and assigning work.
• Develop best practices for data visualizations, publish BI dashboards/reports, train organization on tool usage.
• Facilitate ongoing senior leadership feedback loops to drive improvements.
• Ensure QA processes for data models and visualizations, and provide guidance on process exceptions.
• Ensure templates, standards and themes are intuitive for business users with varying data literacy.
• Provide actionable insights to lines of business and support self-service BI access across the enterprise.
