Job summary

Hearts & Science is seeking an experienced Data & Analytics leader in New York to drive data strategy, governance, and quality across diverse client accounts and media channels.

You will oversee BI tooling deployment, ETL processes, and data warehousing, while mentoring a team of analysts and managers. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration and deep data governance expertise.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years’ experience in data management, data engineering, Data Management and/or business intelligence.
• 3–5 years’ experience in digital media data (ad server, digital, search, social, video, offline, etc.).
• 3–5 years’ experience in agile development environments.
• 3–5 years’ experience in client-facing work and managing offshore or cross-functional teams.
• 4+ years’ experience in data governance and quality processes within data warehousing, ETL, and BI environments.
• 5+ years’ experience in business analysis or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Direct the development, implementation, and maintenance of data strategies, quality standards, business rules, and governance processes for diverse client accounts and media channels.
• Oversee creation and management of project plans, assign tasks, and ensure standardized processes in an agile environment.
• Liaise among internal teams, offshore resources, external vendors, and clients to communicate roles and expectations.
• Supervise investigation and resolution of data integrity issues and define business rules for data cleansing and QA.
• Advise on or lead deployment of BI tools, data warehousing, ETL, and automation initiatives.
