DriveTime is seeking an Assistant Director of Data Science to lead a team of data scientists responsible for predictive analytics, machine learning, simulation, and optimization. You will collaborate with IT, BI, and business operations to build major improvements in analytics and processes.

You will advise senior leadership, oversee model development from design through deployment, and develop enterprise capabilities while managing resources and partnerships across the company.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics.
• 2+ years of experience leading, managing, or mentoring technical analytics or data science talent.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of data scientists to develop predictive analytics and ML solutions.
• Collaborate with IT, BI, and other areas to improve analytical processes and systems.
• Advise senior leadership on data science strategies and roadmaps.
• Oversee end-to-end development of ML models from design to deployment.
• Foster a high-performing analytics culture and partnerships across the business.
