Job summary

Capital One seeks an experienced Director of Risk Management for Enterprise Data Risk Management. You will apply risk management and data expertise to develop and support data risk identification and mitigation.

You will partner across the enterprise to provide data risk advisory services to multiple lines of business, communicating current state and future direction of data management maturity. This individual contributor role is highly collaborative, with opportunities to work with senior data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in data governance and risk management.
• Experience partnering with internal business clients is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight to data AEs and stewards; assess gaps and risks.
• Influence business partners to embed data management into controls and processes.
• Act as trusted advisor on data risk to senior leaders.
• Use data analytics to assess risk and guide mitigation.
• Collaborate with EDRM and 2nd line partners on metadata, data quality, governance.
