Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Director of Product Management, Data to own the data strategy, governance, and analytics foundation across the organization. This leader will treat datasets, metrics, and pipelines as products with clear owners and self-serve capabilities for trusted insights.

They will define the vision for data products, manage a prioritized roadmap for data products and platform investments, and drive AI-ready capabilities so agents can act on trusted data across the customer

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years in Data Product Management, Data Strategy, Analytics, or Enterprise Governance.
• Strong analytical and technical acumen.
• Deep familiarity with the Salesforce product ecosystem architectures, and integrated data and analytics capabilities.
• Proven track record in data governance and metric alignment, including single-source-of-truth.
• Strong product lifecycle management skills, with ability to assess, build, extend, and manage data products.
• Proven ability to leverage data, analytics, and platform capabilities to scale.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across Product, Tech, Operations, Finance, and GTM.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with urgency.
• Experience in high-growth enterprise, SaaS, or complex ecosystems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a holistic data strategy aligned with scaling goals.
• Establish governance models, unified metric definitions, and high data quality.
• Improve data documentation and platform discoverability across teams.
• Measure the business value of data products and manage their lifecycle.
• Assess existing data/analytics infrastructure and lead the Data/Analytics team.
• Establish data contracts and SLAs for datasets and AI systems.
• Safeguard sensitive data with robust privacy and compliance controls.
• Drive data literacy and adoption across the organization.
• Build and govern AI-ready data foundation for net-new agents.
